would be a definite negative on that. You could however contract hypothyroidism after the surgery and it would be absolutely unrelated because of their separate functions

I've NEVER heard of that. I had bypass four years ago and had Hypothyroidism BEFORE the surgery.

Wow that rocks, that really made me smile! I’m normal weight and even I’m considering a liquid diet now… if it means you’ll be full of energy and get awesome skin =DD I’m not worried about being too old yet though, thankfully! haha.
